Application Development

Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) is the industry standard for developing portable, robust, scalable and secure server-side Java applications. Building on the solid foundation of the Java Platform, Standard Edition, Java EE provides web services, component model, management, and communications APIs that make it the industry standard for implementing enterprise-class service-oriented architecture (SOA) and next-generation web applications.

.NET is the latest Microsoft technology provides the ability to quickly build, deploy, manage, and integrate security-enhanced next generation applications and web services.

With Visual Studio 2005, Microsoft’s .NET platform has matured into a robust and versatile development environment for both Windows-based and Web-based application development. With its emphasis on XML technology and Web services, .NET allows businesses of all sizes to take advantage of the Internet for distributed computational power.
.Net platform now support over 20 different programming languages. Moreover, web services that are going to be the significant part of any application-development environment is easy, fast, and cheap to develop and deploy in .Net. The open standards for web services such as extensible Markup Language (XML), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Universal Description Directory and Integration, and Web Services Description Language (WSDL) favor more .Net technology than other.

Quality Assurence-Testing

Sonic Information Systems Inc. provides Six Sigma services which is an overall enterprise improvement methodology that uses data to monitor, control, and improve operational performance by eliminating and preventing ‘defects’ in products and associated processes. Six Sigma emphasizes producing better, faster, and lower cost product and services than the competition and stresses breakthrough improvement, for improved bottom line results.

In these courses, managers and employees new to Six Sigma discover how Six Sigma strategies and tactics fit into a larger management system and how to apply simple and advanced tools and techniques to solve and prevent critical business process problems. We provide strategic quality planning and tactical execution services for early stage software companies to rapidly and efficiently scale your companies testing abilities while reducing your quality assurance overhead and time to market.

Our experienced, New York based team will work directly with your project managers and developers to create the most efficient, most accurate test plans with the highest probability of catching defects. We have flexibility in size, scope and expertise. We can significantly reduce your overhead by using our local and international distributed testing service resources.

Sonic Information Systems Inc. will analyze all of the various quality initiatives that organizations have used in the past and the present. As well, Sonic Information Systems Inc. will provide an overview of various quality initiatives that can be used. This analysis will uncover an understanding of: what quality initiatives have been used, why they were used, the impact they have had on organizations, and if they are no longer used, why they were eliminated, etc.

Sonic Information Systems Inc. provides software test-bed which is needed for system developers to test-run their codes on a target device to verify correct hardware and software integration. Test Bed is an execution environment configured for software testing. It consists of specific hardware, network topology, Operating System, configuration of the product to be under test, system software and other applications. The Test Plan for a project should be developed from the test beds to be used. In the proposed test-bed, the user is the active application developer, and the test-bed provides a cost effective environment for such work.

Our services cover the entire product development life cycle including development of test plans and test cases, ensuring test platforms are in place and test harnesses are created, execution of white box and black box testing, and development of a long term, success oriented quality strategy for your company.

Project Management

Project management is the discipline of organizing and managing resources (e.g. people) in such a way that the project is completed within defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints. A project is a temporary and one-time endeavor undertaken to create a unique product or service, which brings about beneficial change or added value. This property of being a temporary and one-time undertaking contrasts with processes, or operations, which are permanent or semi-permanent ongoing functional work to create the same product or service over and over again. The management of these two systems is often very different and requires varying technical skills and philosophy, hence requiring the development of project management.

The first challenge of project management is to make sure that a project is delivered within defined constraints. The second, more ambitious challenge is the optimized allocation and integration of inputs needed to meet pre-defined objectives. A project is a carefully defined set of activities that use resources (money, people, materials, energy, space, provisions, communication, etc.) to meet the pre-defined objectives.

TQM Total Quality Management is the management of total quality. We know that management consists of planning, organizing, directing, control, and assurance. Then, one has to define "total quality". Total quality is called total because it consists of 3 qualities: Quality of return to satisfy the needs of the shareholders, Quality of products and services to satisfy some specific needs of the consumer (end user) and Quality of life - at work and outside work - to satisfy the needs of the people in the organization. This is achieved with the help of upstream and downstream partners of the enterprise. To this, we have to add the corporate citizenship, i.e. the social, technological, economical, political, and ecological (STEPE) responsibility of the enterprise concerning its internal (its people) and external (upstream and downstream) partners, and community.

Therefore, Total quality management goes well beyond satisfying the customer, or merely offering quality products (goods and/or services). Note that we use the term consumer or end customer. The reason is that in a Supply Chain Management approach, we don't have to satisfy our customers' needs but the needs of our customers' customers' all the way to the end customer, the consumer of a product and/or service.
